Snow Yoga on Lake Temiskaming

What We’ll Do

Join Nadine, your instructor and guide from Living Life with Ike, for an amazing and reflective winter experience. You will meet Nadine on the shores of Lake Temiskaming where she will start with an introduction to the snow labyrinth and how the class will flow. You will begin your labyrinth walk by setting your intentions and giving thanks to the Anishinaabe and Algonquin peoples who have preserved the land since time immemorial. Shortly after beginning your walk, Nadine will guide you in a goddess-walk and focus on appreciation. Once Nadine reaches the center of the labyrinth, the flow practice begins with using breath work to transition into asanas (poses). Both English and Sanskrit will be used during the practice to help us ground with Easter and Western yoga practices. As the flow practice comes to an end, you will continue your walk to the center of the Labyrinth to write down your intentions and light them in the pot to send them off to the universe , you will able to leave the labyrinth in your own time while you reflect. Classes occur every Saturday at 11am. Class spots are limited, so register with Nadine via her Facebook Page, or through Direct Message

Meet your host, Nadine Weston

Hi everyone! My name is Nadine Weston. I grew up in Kirkland Lake and currently reside in Haileybury, Temiskaming Shores. I’m a certified yoga instructor who focuses on unique outdoor yoga experiences. My passion for outdoor yoga came from living on Victoria Island and our move back to Ontario. We did a lot of camping on the way, and I was able to experience outdoor yoga from the island to ontario. I was blessed to do yoga at the Sooke Potholes, Hoodoos and beautiful Canmore as well as the farm lands in the Prairies. My passion to continue outdoor yoga and have people experience what mother nature has to offer on a spiritual level has continued with the amazing places here in Temiskaming Shores. I find some of the most beautiful local landscapes to practice my craft and believe the outdoors adds a significant wellness dimension to my yoga practice.
