Meet the Team
In 2018, Abby returned to North Bay, where she co-founded the Beer Baroness Society, and now works with 101 Experiences. Abby is incredibly passionate about developing tourism in North Bay and Northern Ontario, and showing off our hidden gems to the world!
101 Experiences has provided Aga with a wonderful opportunity to meet people with unique passions and talents. For her, it is an honour and great pleasure to assist in turning people’s passions into tourism experiences. Exploring the uniqueness of this region and its people has been a wonderful adventure. And there is still so much to learn and to discover!
Anna began to meet other newcomers through the KL Multicultural Group. This group provided her with a sense of belonging and support. This is where Anna found her passion, CONNECTING CULTURES. Making newcomers and families feel welcomed and connected to their community. 101 Experiences has been a natural fit for Anna, as her values and goals coincide with those of the the project.
After completing her bachelor’s degree in chemistry at the University of Toronto, she moved back up North with very little idea of what she wanted to do with her life. As fate would have it, she got involved with the 101 Experiences project and fell in love with community development. Lexi is passionate about promoting tourism in Northern Ontario and helping make our communities more welcoming.
Lexi is in charge of all things administrative at 101 Experiences. Feel free to reach out to her if you have any questions or if you’re interested in getting involved - she will likely answer your email within about 30 seconds!
Lynne is a trainer with 101 experiences and is dedicated to helping the project be inclusive and open to history and the original peoples of this land we call Turtle Island. 101 Experiences is an opportunity for all people to be a part of something bigger, and the inclusion of Indigenous people will give everyone a chance to see the richness of Indigenous culture and reduce the stigmas that exist towards us.
After a 15 year jolt, she returned to Timmins, where Sylvie started her new venture, Rebel Soul. Rebel Soul creating unique experiences for the community to try something new, unplug from the day to day and connect with like-minded people.
