Grief Recovery Workshop

Kirkland Lake

Price: $15

Experience Hosted by Kayla Simbirski

1-2 hours • Hosted in English

What We’ll Do

The whole of this experience will happen online through zoom, so people can attend from their own home. It is intended as an educational experience. I will be taking this time to help educate participants on the topic of Grief, what it is and is not. Some of the myths and lies we have been taught about grief, and what they can start doing to lay down the burden and emotional attachment to grief. I will be sharing my personal story of my grief recovery and allowing time for the participants to share if they choose to, giving them an opportunity to start healing. I will also share how they can continue with their healing process after the workshop if they choose to. This experience will be different as it is not “typical” in the sense of going somewhere and learning about culture or a new activity. Rather this is intended for anyone who has found they struggle with allowing themselves to fully experience, as grief often holds us back from experience, OR if they know someone personally who has been struggling who really needs this help it will give them the opportunity to share.
