Taste Temiskaming Market Tour & Brunch
Northern Canadian grown foods are curious foods, like Bison, artisan cheeses, fiddleheads to organic buckwheat honey. My experience explores the unique foods grown on the Terroir of Temiskaming region. A market tour starts the day, where our group will meet at the Riverside Market to gather seasonal selections and meet the farmers and passionate artisans. After the tour participants will join me for brunch in our historical home built in 1929. This experience focusses on the importance of supporting one's local terroir for sustainability, bringing people together to break bread and instilling the values of old fashion simple ingredient cooking.
