What We'll Do

Take a fun and relaxing tour of the Mattawa EcoFarm and Discovery Centre! This winter will be our first winter running tours, and we have interactive and immersive themes taking place all winter long! All experiences are private and require advance booking.

November 15th - December 31st
Olde Fashioned Christmas

- Stroll along the naturally decorated trees and warm yourself by the fire. Hot water will be boiling in the cauldron so bring your own mugs, marshmallows, hot chocolate and tea!

Location : North Bay, ON
Mattawa Eco Farms and Learning Centre is situated on a 7 acre property nestled close to the Laurentian Mountains. We are conveniently located on Highway 17 East (the Trans-Canada Highway) just 5 minutes from downtown Mattawa. We are close to North Bay(45 minutes) with Ottawa (3 Hours) and Toronto (4 Hours) just a pleasant drive away.

What to Bring
Weather appropriate gear (coat/sweater), comfortable shoes suitable for walking/hiking in the snow, water, mitts, hat, etc. As this activity is outdoors masks are not required, if you choose to wear one please bring your own mask and hand sanitizer as these items are not provided. The gardens are grass surface that could handle strollers/wheelchairs/walkers designed for this type of terrain, the forest trail is not suitable for strollers so you may wish to bring a child carrier if participating in this activity. NO alcohol, smoking or recreational drugs are permitted on property. NO Pets allowed due the abundance of wildlife and children on the premises.

Maximum number of guests
There is a two-person minimum and a ten-person maximum. Each tour is exclusive to you and your family or group. An adult must accompany minors (under 18) at all times.
