There is a strong connection with nature and art as we recharge and heal our spirit. I look forward to sharing tips and tricks, and soaking up the magic of the moment, as we discuss the history of the area. No painting experience needed, just your enthusiasm, curiosity and inspiration. At the end of our adventure, my hope is that you enjoyed being in the moment. The gift of insight and appreciation of the healing power of painting in nature,. Reflection of our multicultural past and striving future. The end result of your painting is always the biggest joy for me because you will be surprised and impressed with your creativity. How simple, relaxing, no expectations, letting yourself be you. You will have gained a beautiful memory, or a start on a wonderful Hobby. Meet your host, Tammy Racicot

I am a self taught artist, specializing in acrylic painting and have been a member of the Porcupine Art Club for a number of years. I have submitted to different art venues with wonderful results. Most recently the Northern Ontario Artists Association NOAA 2021 selection. I have been a licensed Art Sherpa Instructor for a number of years. Being a self taught artist, helped me work through techniques that I can confidently share with willing adventurers. Living in Timmins, I am surrounded by nature, manicured public gardens and an abundance of History. Timmins, the Hub of the North for the local towns and tourists.
